Best Mash-Up Ever of the Day: Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and Megadeth’s “In My Darkest Hour”
Giving life to what I imagine is both Dave Mustaine’s greatest dream (he’s in Metallica again!) and worst nightmare (he has to share the spotlight with James Hetfield!), YouTube user known as The Taskmaster has married Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” with Megadeth’s “In My Darkest Hour” (which, not coincidentally I’m sure, was written following the death of Cliff Burton). As is the case with all good mash-ups, the fun comes from how unexpectedly well the two songs fuse together. Bravo, Taskmaster — bravo!
