Video: Cave In Members Perform Acoustic Tribute Set to Caleb Scofield at Roadburn Festival

0

The metal world is still mourning the tragic death of Cave In, Old Man Gloom and Zozobra bassist Caleb Scofield last month, with tributes pouring in from all over the globe (including a live one by Between the Buried and Me).

For the most important tribute of all, Scofield’s Cave In bandmates Stephen Brodsky and Adam McGrath performed a special acoustic set in Caleb’s honor at the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands yesterday. The set spanned Cave In’s catalog (and included a couple of covers), and went as follows [via The PRP]:

“Youth Overrided”
“The Calypso”
“Harvest Moon” (Neil Young cover)
“Everest”
“New Moon”
“Dark Driving”
“Nothing” (Townes Van Zandt cover)
“Heartbreaks, Earthquakes”
“Big Riff”
“Sing My Loves”

You can watch some fan-filmed clips of the performance below. I got chills watching these, and I can only imagine how powerful it was to be in the room.

Rest in power, Caleb.
