Watch: Kids React to System of a Down and Absolutely LOVE It

Maximus the Destroyer, the only young’n to reside in the Vince Division of the MetalSucks Mansion, has been exposed to metal since birth. He’s now approaching three years old and often requests to listen to Anthrax (which actually just means the song “Madhouse”), has shown an affinity for Corrosion of Conformity and even tolerates the new Rivers of Nihil album, which I blasted in our living room this weekend.

The little dude hasn’t yet been exposed to System of a Down, but if he were I imagine he’d have a reaction not unlike those of the children in the latest “Kids React” video, all of whom LOVE what they’re hearing. It’s not all that shocking that kids enjoy this stuff; there’s a certain zany, wild and almost cartoon-like character to the band’s music, although these children rightly pick up on the band’s angst and comment on their use of screaming.

Previous “Kids React” segments have seen today’s youth share their opinions on Black Sabbath, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden and others; what I’d really like to see is one of these filmed with Gwar, Pig Destroyer, or even Slayer… just something flat out nasty and scary. What fun! Corrupting today’s youth one video at a time.
