Myles Kennedy has had quite a career as a musician. From his humble start with The Mayfield Four to his big break with Alter Bridge and his rise to stardom as the vocalist for Slash’s solo band, he’s become one of the most talented — and emulated — vocalists in rock n’ roll. For proof of that, look no further than the hundreds (thousands?) of fans the world over who have covered his work on YouTube.

With the release of Kennedy’s debut solo album Year of the Tiger right around the corner, we figured we’d celebrate his tremendous body of work and all the folks he’s inspired by sitting him down in front of a computer loaded with a YouTube playlist full of fans covering his tunes. As it turns out, there’s some really damn talented folks out there… so much so that Kennedy said he’s ready to call it quits and retire to a life of gardening. Cucumbers, anyone?
