MetalSucks Presents: Gigan’s “Undulating Waves Across North America” 2018 Tour!
Death metallers Gigan released Undulating Waves of Rainbiotic Iridescence this past fall, but they’ve yet to do a proper tour in support of their most recent album… until now! So naturally, when the band approached MetalSucks about sponsoring the run — with Sunless in support — we didn’t hesitate one moment to agree.
Undulating Waves, as we’ll heretofore refer to the album, is quite the assault on the senses. No Clean Singing did a fantastic job summarizing what it has in store, so we’ll just plop that right on the money description here:
“Delivering eight mind-bending cuts of multi-dimensional tech-death terror, interspersed with sudden, erratic bursts of psychedelia-infused grindcore and plangent, proggy grooves, the band’s fourth albums finds them continuing to push forwards into the outer reaches of the death metal sphere, while also continuing their trend for utterly ridiculous, instantly memorable song/album titles.”
