Parkway Drive Have a New Song and Video, “Wishing Wells”

I missed the whole Parkway Drive train. By the time the second-gen metalcore band started really catching on in the late ’00s I had long since moved past this style of metal into the realm of sounds way more dark and sinister. Still, amongst metal fans of a certain age (born in the early ’90s, more or less), I know Parkway Drive have a following… so, this post is for you.

Lambgoat tells us that Parkway Drive have a new song and video, “Wishing Wells.” It’s just a standalone track that isn’t from any album, but the band is allegedly hard at work on a new record as I write this. The song doesn’t do a ton for me, but I also can’t really say anything bad about it… it just kinda exists. Perhaps some of you Parkway Drive fans out there can tell me what I’m missing.
