Video: Zakk Wylde Watches Fan Covers of Himself on YouTube

Zakk Wylde is a colorful character, to say the least. So, to celebrate his latest record with Black Label Society, Grimmest Hits, we thought it’d be fun to put him in front of a YouTube playlist loaded up with various renditions of fans covering music from throughout his career.

From his work with Ozzy to Pride & Glory and Black Label Society, there’s hundreds (thousands?) of videos of fans performing his work out there, some of them straight covers and some of them modified renditions. But there’s one thing linking them all together: Zakk was into it! Imagine covering one of these tracks and uploading it YouTube years ago, then waking up this morning to see a video of Zakk himself watching you play and calling your performance “slammin’” or “bitchin’.” That’d be pretty slammin’ itself.
