Skindred Announce New Album, Release First Single

Vince likes Skindred, I think; I never really caught on. I also don’t remember them ever sounding like they do on their new single, “Machine.” There’s nary a trace of nu-metal or reggaecore or whatever; hell, except for one brief section, it’s barely a metal song. It really sounds like one of those early aughts bands that tried to bring back cock rock, like Beautiful Creatures. I don’t mean that as an insult; I think this song is super catchy. If the band’s entire new album, Big Tings (not a typo), sounds like this, and they release an edition with a puppy instead of a kitty on the cover, I might actually have to buy it.
