Iron Reagan and Gatecreeper Made a Split… and You Can Listen to One Song from Each Band Right Now!

Great news: two of Relapse Records’ heaviest hitters, Iron Reagan and Gatecreeper, have teamed up for a new split. Other than being labelmates and being awesome, the two bands don’t really have much in common, which actually makes the whole endeavor that much more exciting… variety being the spice of life and all that.

Better news: you can listen to one new song from each band right now!

Best (if least surprising) news: both songs are a total blast that exemplify why these two bands are so beloved. Again, musically, they don’t have many similarities, but they’re both exceptionally well-written; whether the second song you listen to is Iron Reagan’s anthemic crossover jam, “Paper Shredder,” or Gatecreeper’s assaultive, flattening death metal wrecking ball, “War Has Begun,” when the track is over, it’s gonna be stuck in your head. I really can’t say enough good things about these songs.
