King 810 to Release Queen EP This Friday

The latest metal band to try their luck with a surprise release will be King 810, who have teased an EP, apparently entitled Queen, via their social media accounts. Obviously, the title is meant to go hand-in-hand with their band name, but for a second, I got really excited that the EP would contain nothing but covers of Queen songs. Because how fucking strange would that be? It would be a Lulu level of weird, and by far the most interesting thing King 810 have ever done.

But even if it’s not a Queen covers collection, this video teaser for the release certainly suggests it’s gonna sound different from most of the group’s output:
