Here’s a Metal Song That Only Uses 16th Notes
Someone online recently challenged Rob Scallon to create a metal song using only 16th notes, and Scallon, never one to shrink from a challenge, obliged. In Scallon’s own words, the resulting music basically sounds like Slayer. In fact, the section that starts around :46 is better than any riff on Repentless. The solo, which also only uses is 16th notes, is equally gnarly.
