Max Cavalera of Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfly, Nailbomb and, of course, formerly of Sepultura, is our guest this week. We discuss the current Soulfly tour on which the band is performing Nailbomb’s Point Blank in its entirety, the influence younger bands had on Cavalera Conspiracy’s new album Psychosis, his favorite underground metal bands, Max’s top four records he’s ever made, his hopes for the future of Killer Be Killed, the 20th anniversary of Soulfly (and a new record coming out in 2018), and his favorite records that were created by one of his kin.

Pete, Brandon, and Jozalyn tackle Maynard’s strict “no photos” policy at A Perfect Circle shows (resulting in 60 people being booted from the venue in Reading, PA), The Dillinger Escape Plan performing with Mike Patton and the passing of original Faith No More vocalist Chuck Mosley. We also introduce the listeners to a new segment with MS Co-founder Vince Neilstein called “Unsolved Metal Mysteries,” and play actual audio of Brandon’s on air attempt at interviewing Glenn Danzig.
