Ozzy Osbourne Announces Farewell Tour
Having completed Black Sabbath’s farewell tour in February, Ozzy Osbourne, 68, is now plotting his farewell tour as a solo artist. Although the Ozz man’s full sayonara itinerary has yet to be revealed, the tour will last into 2020, according to a press release.
Says Ozzy:
“People keep asking me when I’m retiring. This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Ozzy has claimed he was retiring from touring — he did the cleverly-named ‘No More Tours’ farewell trek way back in 1992. But it will probably be easier to swear off the touring life for good at age 70 than it was at 44.
The press release doesn’t say anything about a final album, although Ozzy himself has said that he is, indeed, working on a new solo record.
