Hear an Audio Sample of Jamey Jasta + Dee Snider’s New Project!
Twitter has been abuzz of late with word of a new collaborative project between Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta and Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, with the two tweeting at each other in recent days about the effort. It seems Jasta is helming the musical aspect and bringing in Dee to handle vocals, with Light The Torch / ex-Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones getting in on the action as well:
Waiting for flight to NYC. Recording 1st track for new album with @jameyjasta 2morrow! Hopefully he makes it back from Mexico! #Weather

Dee arrived in NYC as scheduled, and the two commenced recording vocals yesterday, October 30th, with Jasta sharing a quick video preview clip via Instagram. And I gotta say… it sounds promising! The riff is ballsy, heavier and a bit more modern-sounding than anything Dee would likely tackle on his own, but still with a certain amount of vintage ’80s flair. And Dee’s vocals — at least this one little scream — sound ferocious. Check it out:
Looking forward to hearing all of this as soon as it becomes available.
