Exclusive Track Premiere: Blind Sparrow’s “Cash Mirror,” featuring The Human Abstract’s A.J. Minette
If you’re looking for the heaviest, angriest, most brutal, most extreme music to ever blow apart your speakers… well, then, Blind Sparrow ain’t for you. Sorry.
But if you appreciate top-notch musicianship, enticing melodies, and operatic emotionality, well… boy oh boy, have we got a treat for you! On their painfully catchy new single, “Cash Mirror,” the Los Angeles quintet offer up hooks and harmonies reminiscent of bands like Coheed & Cambria, Dredg, 3, and even the more melodious elements of neo-prog and djent bands like Periphery and The Human Abstract. Which makes sense: the band’s self-titled debut album, was produced by The Human Abstract guitarist and perennial MetalSucks favorite A.J. Minette, who also provides a guest solo on “Cash Mirror.”
MetalSucks is proud to debut “Cash Mirror,” which you can check out below! WARNING: it will get stuck in your head!!!
Blind Sparrow’s eponymous debut will be out soon. In the meantime, check out more of the band’s material on Spotify, and keep your eyes peeled to their Facebook page for release details.
