All Four Members of Decapitated Plead “Not Guilty” to Rape and Kidnapping Charges
All four members of Decapitated have plead “not guilty” to charges of rape and kidnapping, AP reports:
“‘I am not guilty,’ Lysejko told the judge in heavily accented English. The other three also entered their pleas in English, and all four wore yellow jail jumpsuits and handcuffs as they came and left the courtroom.
“A Polish interpreter explained the court proceedings to them over a speakerphone.”
The not guilty plea should not come as a surprise to anyone, given that the band have maintained their innocence.
Band members Wacław “Vogg” Kiełtyka (guitars) and Rafał “Rasta” Piotrowski (vocals) have been charged with charged with first-degree kidnapping and second-degree rape; Michał Łysejko (drums) and Hubert Więcek (bass) have been charged with charged with first-degree kidnapping and third-degree rape. Bail for all four musicians stands at $100,000 each, and they’ve been forbidden from communicating with one another for the time being.
