Acid Witch Invite You To A Blood Feast at “Mutilation Mansion”

If there was ever a band that has earned the classification “Halloween metal”, it would be Acid Witch from Detroit. The band’s sweaty, green-lit stoner death has all of the creeping horror, retro hilarity, and unabashed spookiness of every metalhead’s favorite holiday.

Just in time for the Sabbath of the Undead, Acid Witch has finally put the kabosh on their next album, Evil Sound Screamers (which was announced last year, but I guess took a hot second), and by the looks of its cover alone the album just drips with Halloweeny goodness. But if you need a little more coercing, the band has also released a new track called “Mutilation Mansion” which features pounding riffs, spidery mewling, synth-harpsichord, and vocals that sound like twenty stoned zombie children singing through mouths full of bite-sized Resse’s. Yeah, it’s that fucking Halloweened out.
