Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Provides the Voice of the Killer in Some New Saw Rip-Off

There’s a movie coming out at the end of this month called Halloween Pussy Trap Kill! Kill! Although the title is clearly meant as an homage to Russ Meyer’s Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, but it doesn’t seem to have much in common with that film other than maybe a guy in a wheelchair and a gas station. It does, however, seem to have a lot in common with Saw, which has already been aped about a billion times, including a number of sequels, the latest of which, Jigsaw, will be released just days before this movie.

Amongst the many, many, many, many, many Saw-esque details here is a mysterious killer with a distinctive voice. In the case of Saw, that voice belongs to Tobin Bell, and is truly creepy; in the case of Halloween Pussy Trap, that voice belongs to Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, and is truly silly. Mustaine obviously has a very distinctive voice, and maybe if it were being used in a movie that doesn’t look totally amateurish, it would seem scary. But it isn’t so it doesn’t.

Funny aside: I’ve never heard of “Academy Award Winner Margaret O’Brien” before, so I looked her up. The good news is, she did actually win an Oscar. The bad news is, she won it in 1945, and it was for Outstanding Child Actress, an award which doesn’t exist anymore. So.
