Video: Corey Taylor Covers Tom Petty’s “You Got Lucky”

I came down with the flu on Sunday night; woke up around 4 a.m., hacking up all kinds of interesting stuff, and learned about the mass shooting in Vegas; cried; went back to bed; woke up and summoned the energy to write a few posts; went back to bed; woke up and learned that Tom Petty died; cried some more; hacked up more stuff. Happiest twenty-four hours of my life.

Unfortunately, this ain’t gonna help with the crying problem: Corey Taylor performed an acoustic cover of Petty’s “You Got Lucky” for Boston radio station WAAF 107.3. It’s gorgeous and heartbreaking and oh shit, here come the tears. Goddamnit.
