Arkaik Stream New Song “Order of the Hierogon”

The kids are calling Arkaik “a sick ass tech-death band.” But I’m not a kid, and the band’s new song, “Order of the Heirogon,” just sounds like riff salad to me. There are some cool things going on but it doesn’t matter because the song moves like someone with a severe case of ADHD on cocaine, speed, and Red Bull all at once. It’s also nine-and-a-half minutes long. It’s basically music’s answer to going to a carnival, eating a ton of junk food, and then taking a ride on the Gravitron. There’s allegedly a guest solo by Psycroptic’s Joe Haley in here, but I don’t know how to identify that section because the song is like 75% guitar solos. I’ll stick to my Gorguts and Origin, thanks.
