Light Some Candles and Stream the New Wolves in the Throne Room Album

Wolves in the Throne Room will release their first album in three years, Thrice Woven, three days from now. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I’d say the band is trying to tell us something about/via the number three. I just looked at a website called, I shit you not, mysticalnumbers.com, and they of course have a whole bunch of shit about that particular numeral. And, hey, if any band were actually engaging in some sort of numerological shadow society or aural hexing spell, it would clearly by Wolves in the Throne Room.

But if really all they wanted was to make the bleakest, most intense black metal possible and rock your face off, I’d buy that, too.
