Video: Decapitated Appear in Court; Band Could Remain in Los Angeles Jail for Up to 30 Days
All four members of Decapitated are still being held in a Los Angeles jail on charges of kidnapping and gang rape, where they could remain for up to 30 more days before being extradited back to Washington, where the alleged crime occurred. Michal Lysejko, 31, Waclaw Kieltyka, 35, Rafal Piotrowski, 31, and Hubert Wiecek, 30, were in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday, and they all took turns in front of a judge and verbally agreed to the extradition.
The Los Angeles affiliate of ABC News, KABC, published a video report on the case yesterday evening. You can watch that report below.
The victim, whose identity is not publicly known, told police she was sexually assaulted on the band’s tour bus after being invited on for drinks after the show in Spokane, WA on August 31st. She alleges that all four members of the band took turns with her in the tour bus’s bathroom against her will. A physical examination showed bruising consistent with being restrained. You can read her chilling account of the entire incident here.
The band’s lawyer, Steve Graham, has stated that “Decapitated plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard.”
