Prophets of Rage Debut New Track “Strength in Numbers”
A couple of random observations about “Strength in Numbers,” the latest single from the Rage Against the Public Enemies of Cypress Hill supergroup, Prophets of Rage:
- It shamelessly recycles the riff from “Bulls on Parade” (I won’t say “rips off” that riff, since the dudes who actually wrote the song are in this band).
- The guitar part underneath the verses sounds like a clucking chicken. You will never be able to hear it without thinking of a clucking chicken. Whether or not that ruins the song for you depends on how you feel about chicken, I guess.
Check out “Strength in Numbers” below. The track will appear on the band’s self-titled debut, which drops September 15.
