We’ve still got a month to go ’til the release of Chelsea Wolfe’s new album, Hiss Spun, but with every single Ms. Wolfe releases, the wait somehow only gets harder. “Offering,” her latest, is another dazzlingly depressing exercise in the art of moody, gorgeous pangs of ache. This song makes me wanna dye my hair black and cut myself. Don’t let that deter you from listening to it. A good cry every now and then is healthy.
