Adrenaline Mob Tour Manager Succumbs to Injuries from Tragic Bus Crash
Last month’s tragic bus crash involving Adrenaline Mob has claimed another victim: tour manager Janet Rains (a.k.a. “Jane Train”), 48. The crash left Rains with second and third-degree burns covering 62% of her body and the need for a breathing ventilator. According to The Citizens’ Voice, Rains’ mother, Lucille Joyner, broke the news on Facebook, stating that “Janet chose to be with Jesus.”
Rains is the second member of Adrenaline Mob’s touring team to die as a result of the crash, after bassist David Zablidowsky.
The story becomes that much more tragic when you remember that the accident was in no way Adrenaline Mob’s fault: their RV had pulled over to the site of the highway to fix a flat tire when a tractor-trailer reportedly “crossed at least one full traffic lane before leaving the road,” striking the RV.
We learned last week that the band and those who were with them at the time of the crash are plotting a lawsuit against Twiss Transportation, the Florida-based company to whom the tractor-trailer belongs. Twiss has been involved in 14 crashes over the past two years, one of which caused a fatality, not including the Adrenaline Mob incident.
Our thoughts are with Janet’s loved ones during this horrible time.
More updates as they become available.
