Hatebreed Announce Dates for Satisfaction is the Death of Desire/Perseverance Anniversary Tour
As previously reported, this fall Hatebreed will embark upon a joint anniversary tour on which they’ll be celebrating both the twentieth anniversary of their debut album Satisfaction is the Death of Desire and the fifteenth anniversary of their 2002 sophomore release Perseverance. It wasn’t previously clear if the band planned to play both albums in their entirety or what, but a new press release now clarifies that the group will perform “a majority of songs from both albums, along with other fan favorites from across the entire Hatebreed catalogue.” To play both albums front to back would only take a little more than an hour, so you gotta wonder which songs from these records the band has decided not to play. If those songs were children, you’d feel pretty bad for them.
Dates for trek have now been announced, and can be found below. Support acts won’t be announced ’til September (which is practically tomorrow), but no one is going to this tour for the support acts. If they’re good that will be icing on Hatebreed’s cake, and if they’re bad, whatevs.
