Good news for Samael fans: if you liked “Angel of Wrath,” the first song to be released from their forthcoming album Hegemony, then you’re also gonna dig “Red Planet,” which they just released yesterday.
And why wouldn’t you like either? They’ve got everything a Samael track should have: a big, fat groove, gigantic riffs, some symphonic flair and gut-churning vocals, all laid over the band’s patented synthesis of black metal and death metal.
