Check Out the Haunting Video for Chelsea Wolfe’s “16 Psyche”

“16 Psyche” was the first song to be released from Chelsea Wolfe’s forthcoming album Hiss Spun back in June — another one called “Vex” followed — and it’s as good an example as any as to why those who complain that Chelsea Wolfe music isn’t heavy enough should stick a foot right up their own arsehole.

Wolfe has just released a music video for the track, and it’s perfect. It’s got a ’90s sort of vibe with the way the coloring is done, the use of a fisheye lens, the camera angles and just the general feel of the whole thing. Wolfe’s music has a slight ’90s alt tinge to it to begin with, and this clip does that element of her sound justice.
