Watch: Poison’s Bret Michaels Makes a Cameo in Sharknado 5

Did you catch the premiere of Sharknado 5: Global Swarming last night on Syfy? No? Me neither. Judging by my Twitter feed last night we may the two only people to miss it, so hey, let’s be friends, you and me?

In Poison frontman / reality TV schmuck Bret Michaels’ cameo in the film, the writers take a playful jab at the nine lives-like nature of his life and career, first allowing him to survive being bludgeoned head-on by a double-decker bus. Sensing the coming apocalypse (a metaphor for grunge, clearly!), Michaels whips out his guitar and makes the best of the moment while plastered to the front of the bus before eventually giving way to fate at the teeth of a shark. Because we will all die some day, but we still a little something to believe in.
