The Bronx Release New Song “Two Birds” and Announce Tour with Plague Vendor and ’68
The Bronx are back! Their first new album since The Bronx (IV), released in 2013, will be called — wait for it — Bronx V. You might miss the subtle change in titling scheme on first glance, but by omitting the word “The” from the album’s title The Bronx have switched things up by a whopping 33% five albums in. That’s grand!
The band just released a new song called “Two Birds” following debut single “Sore Throat,” released last month (but which we’ll post below as well since we didn’t then). Taken together, these songs intimate The Bronx are leaning into their punk rock roots a bit harder this time around and subduing the blues rock grooves for which they’ve become known, although that element of their sound is definitely still present, too (heyo bluesy guitar solo!). Either way, I like.
The band just announced a fall U.S. tour with Plague Vendor and ’68, two PERFECT touring partners for The Bronx if ever there were any. Peep those dates below the embeds.
