This New Less Art Album (Thrice, Kowloon Walled City, Curl Up and Die) is Really, Really Good

Heavy music fans of a certain age are absolutely going to LOVE Less Art, the new band featuring Riley and Ed Breckenridge of Thrice, Ian Miller and Jon Howell of Kowloon Walled City, and Mike Minnick of Curl Up and Die. What age, you wonder? If you have to ask then you’re probably not that age.

But for those of us who grew up in the post-Botch explosion of angular post-hardcore/noise-punk, hoooo boy, you’re in for a treat! This is exactly the record you’d hope for given the cast of characters involved, at once warm and familiar and cold and challenging.
