Check Out Brian Storm and Andrew Baena’s New Band One More Slice!
Does the voice on “Trust Fall,” the newest track from One More Slice, sound familiar? It should! That’s MetalSucks video contributor / Massive Metal Covers head honcho Brian Storm singing!
Joining him in the band are fellow MS video man Andrew Baena (guitar), Jonathan McEwen (guitar) and Johnny Ciardullo on bass. Erra vocalist JT Cavey also guests on this track, which is SUPER fucking catchy. I had it stuck in my head after just one listen, and after repeating it twice more it’s pretty much over for me… it’s gonna be rattling around my dome all weekend.
“Trust Fall” is about growing up and leaving the comfort of the home nest. Explain Storm of the song:
“I got pretty drunk one night and I started thinking about how every baby leaves their crib for good one day. This song is about getting over something or getting through a particular challenge and I just found that fitting. I can’t remember what that moment was like for me as a baby but I’d like to think that I had my friends there rooting me on. Eventually, you realize that sometimes it’s better to stay in the crib for a little while longer.”
The Post Party Depression EP is out today and available for purchase here. Follow the band on Facebook.
