Foo Fighters Debut New Song “Sunday Rain” Live with Taylor Hawkins on Vocals
Guys, I’m just gonna be upfront with you: I’m hungover and beat as fuck. Last night I went to see Infinity Shred and special guest opener Jake Bowen (of Periphery, playing his electronic solo material), and while that certainly isn’t a lineup you’d think would inspire hard partying, the night kinda got away from me as nights so often do. It never helps when your two-year-old wakes up at 6:30am, either. I’m out of gas.
So: here’s a new Foo Fighters song called “Sunday Rain” that the band premiered live on Wednesday night in Riga, Latvia. Drummer Taylor Hawkins sings lead vocals. It’s a slow jam, unlike the way more upbeat “Run” the band released a few weeks ago. It’s pretty cool. Listen for yourself.
Also, in case you missed it: Dave Grohl recently invited his eight-year-old daughter up on stage to perform Queen’s “We Will Rock You” with the band. That was also pretty cool.
The Foos’ new album Concrete and Gold will come out on September 15th via Roswell Records / RCA Records and they just announced a massive fall arena tour (dates here).
