Decapitated Premiere New Song, “Earth Scar”

You know how in some places the subway doors aren’t automated — you open them yourself? Yeah, well, when I was a schmucky college student backpacking across Europe, I tried to be cool and step off a still-moving train in Paris.

Having the platform swept out from under me, hitting the concrete and involuntarily rolling, hurting my body, my pride, and my backpack all in one fell swoop… it felt a bit like Decapitated’s new song, “Earth Scar.”
