Too soon? Emperor Rhombus’ Best of 2017… So Far
Man, halfway through 2017 and I already feel like Rottweiler has bitten off the tip of my penis and puked it back into my mouth. Between our president setting out to end the world and kill the poor, our country reminding us daily that it sits atop a seething mass of racism and bigotry, and the Halloween franchise being rebooted, it’s been one roller coaster ride of a year, and it’s only June.
Anyway, here are the albums that have been kicking my ass thus far. They’re a mixed bag, filled with a lot of surprising new efforts and awesome returns to form. We’ll see how many make it to December’s final list.
