Converge’s Jacob Bannon Ranks the Band’s Discography from Worst to Best
Converge screecher Jacob Bannon is the most recent metal musician to rank his band’s discography for Noisey. You should head over there to read all of Bannon’s explanations as to why he ranked the albums the way he did, but you can check out the list with those explanations below.
Spoiler alert: Bannon ranked the album’s in reverse chronological order, suggesting that each Coverge album is superior to the one before it. This point of view is perfectly understandable; as I said when Carcass’ Bill Steer did nearly the same thing, “an artist who really puts his heart and soul into his work is probably going to feel the most strongly connected to the work he created most recently.”
Still I wonder if the fans would agree? I suspect not, but… maybe?
