Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Wonders When “Petulant Cunt” Donald Trump Will “Just Fucking Get Impeached Already”
One big question which is perpetually on the mind of metalheads everywhere: “But what does Corey Taylor think?”
Well, one thing we know Corey Taylor thinks for sure: Donald Trump is a huge box of farts. He was an ardent Bernie Sanders supporter who slagged Trump before he won the election, and he expressed absolute horror after Trump won. When Taylor subsequently announced a that he’d written a new book called America 51: A Probe into the Realities That Are Hiding Inside the Greatest Country in the World, it was a fair assumption that he was going to devote at least some of that book to further demonstrating his hatred for the man who has earned the title ‘Worst U.S. President in History’ in record time.
Turns out, our fair assumption was, well… fair! In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor reveals that although America 51 is really about the “culture divide” that landed us in this situation in the first place, Trump is “peppered in [the book] all the time.” And, no, he has not yet been won over by El Giro Naranja:
“It’s really fucking unfortunate how bad we have just fucked ourselves into an embarrassing … Did you see what he did with the members of the U.N.? Did you see him shove the dude?” Taylor says, referring to the incident last month where Trump appeared to push aside the prime minister of Montenegro to get to the front of a photo op. “I’m like, ‘Ugh, you petty, petulant cunt. Would you just fucking get impeached already?’
“It is embarrassing that he is the ‘leader of the free world,’” he continues. “I will never give him the qualification for that shit. He can’t go away fast enough. And I think people are really starting to see that. His approval rating is at 39 percent in a lot of places. Was there a reason you wiped your ass with your fucking vote, you bunch of dickheads? Good for you.”
It’s great to see a guy with this large of a platform and this much influence over his fans take a stand like this, despite the potential backlash he faces for doing so — a consequence of which Taylor is clearly unafraid. Asked about fans being pissy about his outspoken political views, the ever-witty Taylor drolly replied, “I’ve had a little pushback, but only from people who masturbate to Lee Greenwood songs.” Oh, Corey!
