Here’s a New Alice Cooper Song, “Paranoiac Personality”

If you’d have asked me yesterday what “paranoiac” means I probably would’ve said it’s a made-up riff on a real world along the lines of Slayer’s “Repentless.” But nope: it’s a real word to describe a paranoid person, and there was even a 1963 film with the word as its title. Serves me right for being culturally ignorant.

In any case, “Paranoiac Personality” is the name of the new Alice Cooper song. It comes from Paranormal, which will be his TWENTY-FUCKING-SEVENTH studio album. If you’ve ever heard Alice Cooper before you know basically what to expect: it’s got that classic Alice rock n’ roll swagger, a drop of his trademark creepiness and a big ol’ hook of a chorus.

Paranormal will be released on July 28 through earMUSIC and fans can place their pre-orders (MP3, CD or vinyl) at Amazon.
