Star Wars-Themed Metal Band Galactic Empire Announces Summer Tour
You may remember Galactic Empire from this metallicized version of John Williams’ legendary score from Star Wars, which dropped in the closing moments of 2015 and took the metalnets by storm, featuring the band members — Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland from Pennsylvania’s Atrium Audio (August Burns Red, Rivers of Nihil) as well as members of Unsigned & Unholy alum Alustrium — dressed up in full Star Wars garb:
The band’s given a couple of live performances since then, but they’ve just announced a 22-date U.S. tour with Danger Kids that’ll take them just about everywhere east of the Mississippi this summer.
You’re not gonna wanna miss these guys if you’re a Star Wars fan and they come anywhere near your city.
