Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix Calls Trump Administration “a Fucking Shit Show”
Live long enough, and sooner or later, you will see everything. Case in point: today, I, Axl Rosenberg, actually agree with Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix (formerly Coby Dick… that’s not relevant, I just like reminding people).
Asked by NME about the state of American politics, Shaddix had this to say:
“I’m on the ticket of ‘none of the above’. I am really not impressed with American politics and American politicians. The state of affairs is really fucking depressing, and it saddens me.
“In reality as I look at myself and I’ve lived this life I am beyond ‘Yeah I live in America, yes I pay taxes in America,’ but beyond that I’m a fucking human being. You know what I mean? And to me that comes before anything, is that I’m a human being, and human beings deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and that’s what I strive for, that’s the standard that I hold to myself and to the people around me, and the current administration is just seems like a fucking shit show and I am not impressed, I am not a fan and I think we have a long way to go.”
Okay so I don’t completely agree with Shaddix: I’m not one of those people who thinks the Trump/Clinton election was Shit Sandwich vs. Giant Douche situation (which is what Shaddix seems to be saying with his “None of the above” remark). Donald Trump is a fucking MANIAC who has no business being in office, and I think a lot of the Hillary backlash had more to do with her being a woman than her alleged political misdeeds. Do all American politicians. Is it fair to say that most American politicians suck? Yes, absolutely. Was Hillary perfect? Not by a long shot. But think about the tremendous amount of horrible shit going on right now and remember we could have avoided all of it by not electing Trump.
Other than that, though, yeah. I agree with Shaddix. This administration is a fucking shit show. I keep hearing people compare Trump to a Bond villain, but that’s hugely unfair to Bond villians, who are usually evil geniuses. Trump might be Dr. Evil… maybe. It’s basically the best thing the left has going for it right now: a more savvy politician could be doing even more heinous shit right now. Trump is such a moron he keeps fumbling the ball. So that’s nice.
