Dead Cross, Featuring Mike Patton and Dave Lombardo, Announce Inaugural Tour
Most of us have yet to experience Dead Cross live, despite their giving an apparently riveting, albeit invisible, performance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest last year. The band, which features Faith No More vocalist Mike Patton, former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, and members of The Locust, will kick off their first tour in August. Again, I haven’t had a chance to see this band live yet, but it’s hard to imagine them sucking — aside from their revered line-up of musicians, I can tell you that the band’s debut album kicks all kinds of ass. So don’t hesitate to hit up one of these gigs.
Dates are below. If you’d like to hear a track from the band’s eponymous album, you can do so here. It comes out August 4 on Patton’s own Ipecac Recordings.
