Did Seether Rip-Off Tool?

A MetalSucks readers has pointed out a startling similarity between “Let You Down,” a track from Seether’s recently-released Poison the Pariah, and Tool’s 1996 classic, “Stinkfist.” I would assume anyone reading this is familiar with the Tool track, but in case you’re not:

In Seether’s defense, it’s not as though anyone expects them to be good. Using a stolen Tool riff is actually a massive improvement to their music. Hopefully, they’ll continue to imitate Tool… right down to not releasing another album for eleven years.
