It’s the Melodic Death Metal Cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” You’ve Been Waiting For
The YouTube video of Ed Sheeran’s smash hit “Shape of You” has over 1 BILLION VIEWS. If this melodic death cover gets even .0001% of that total, we’ll be over the moon.
Not that it doesn’t deserve to, of course! The cover was arranged by MetalMax of the band Light of Disaster, and it’s a fantastic melodeath take on what we suppose is a modern classic. It’s way better than the original, even: Swedish riffing, twin harmonized leads and growled vocals instead of Sheeran’s croony poop? Yes, please.
Check it out below, and check out “Bleak Empire” by MetalMax’s band Light of Disaster as well.
