Former Fear Factory Bassist Christian Olde Wolbers Claims the Band Has Broken Up
Take this with a grain of salt for the time being, given that Christian Olde Wolbers hasn’t actually been in Fear Factory since 2009… but the bassist seems to think that the band has broken up:
Metal Insider points out that there is some evidence to suggest Wolbers may be correct, like the fact that Dino Cazares is making a solo album, the band pulled out of Danzig’s Blackest of the Black festival just a day after being announced, and that almost halfway through 2017, we haven’t gotten any updates on the new album the band was supposedly going to release this year. But, again, I wouldn’t start mourning until there’s an announcement from someone who is, y’know, still in the friggin’ band.
