The Acacia Strain’s “The Big Sleep” is the Best Deathcore Song Ever Written About Raymond Chandler
The plot of The Big Sleep, Raymond Chandler’s legendary detective novel which was turned into a famous Bogie and Bacall movie, is so ridiculously complicated that even Chandler himself once infamously admitted he really didn’t know who had done what.
It’s only appropriate, then, that The Acacia Strain’s new song, “Big Sleep,” is so discombobulating. Someone could give you a concussion, shove you in a barrel, and roll you down a hill, and you’d come out feeling less dizzy than you will have listening to this song.
I think Chandler would approve.
