Here’s a New Song from Arcadea, the Project Featuring Members of Mastodon and Withered

Arcadea, the new project featuring Mastodon’s Brann Dailor, Withered’s Raheem Amlani, and Zruda’s Core Atoms, have released “Infinite End,” a new single from their debut album. It’s not really metal at all, but it does have enough metal cred to warrant us covering it here, so that’s what we’re doing.

So what does it sound like? It’s fuckin’ proggy, bruh. Like, honestly, it’s not that far off from latter-day Mastodon, only instead of a whole lotta guitar doodlin’, there’s a whole lotta fat, funky, science-fiction-y synths. If you dig Emperor of Sand and Once More ‘Round the Sun, I can’t imagine you won’t dig this as well.
