Grim Reaper’s Steve Grimmett Receives the Most Metal Prosthetic Leg EVER

Grim Reaper frontman Steve Grimmett, whose leg was amputated in January just hours after he finished playing a show in Ecuador, has remained remarkably upbeat despite, you know, losing a fucking leg. A follow-up surgery saw doctors remove even more of the limb, although he was all smiles when he was released from the hospital in February.

Grimmett has finally been fitted for a prosthesis, and according to a recent post on Grim Reaper’s Facebook he’s chosen a custom design that’s the most metal replacement limb imaginable:

Airport security is going to absolutely love that design when Grimmett finally gets back to traveling the world and rocking stages near and far.

Here’s to hoping Grimmett’s recovery process is as fast and painless as possible, and he’s able to return to the stage with Grim Reaper before too long.
