Blessthefall Robbed in Orlando, Florida
Blessthefall were robbed at the Katerina Hotel in Orlando, FL recently. Their trailer, which was locked securely, was broken into overnight and all its contents were removed. Guitarist Elliott Gruenberg took to Twitter to make the following statements, along with one from David Chapman, who appears to be a fill-in on this tour:
You know what makes being in a band the hardest? When some piece of shit breaks into your locked trailer and steals all of your stuff..

Nope. This is the third time I've had all my stuff stolen in this band and never once have I ever asked for sympathy handouts. https://t.co/V0cQrB4cZl

What are bands supposed to do about this? I know there are things that can cover them, like insurance, but what more can be done to prevent robberies aside from having one member on post at all times? Guard dogs? Dash cams? Training in how to spot a tail? Making sure your band doesn’t stay at the poorly reviewed Katerina Hotel?
Let us know if you’ve got any good ideas, MS readers.
Also, good on Blessthefall for not asking for handouts.
