Video: Kirk Hammett Reacts to Covers of Metallica Songs

Just telling you up front, this video is a tad disappointing. I mean, it’s a great idea for sure, but Kirk Hammett is just SUCH a nice person that he only has anything negative to say about one of these covers (spoiler: it’s not Rob Scallon’s banjo version of “Master of Puppets”). Since the humor in these types of videos usually comes from the reacting party’s semi-hostile confusion, an unwillingness to potentially hurt feelings kinda goes against the whole point.

Then again, Hammett probably just made all these peoples’ lives, so there’s that.
