New Comedy Central Show Will Feature Rob Halford, Chester Bennington and More
Here’s an interesting concept for a TV show: bring a comedian to the stage to tell a funny story about a song that’s important to him or her, and then bring a band out to perform that very song together.
That’s the premise behind The Comedy Jam, which will premiere on Comedy Central on March 22nd. Comedians scheduled to appear on the show include Big Jay Oakerson, Jim Breuer, Bert Kreischer and others (listed at Loudwire) to be joined on stage by Judas Priest‘s Rob Halford, Linkin Park‘s Chester Bennington, Sebastian Bach, Def Leppard‘s Phil Collen and Art of Anarchy‘s Scott Stapp and Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, to name but a few metal-friendly acts.
Sounds intriguing! I’m personally rooting for a collaboration between Kathy Griffin, Gilbert Gottfried and Scott Stapp for a medley of the most annoying voices on earth.
Here’s a hilarious bit by comedian Bert Kreischer if you’ve got 13 minutes to spare:
